For our module 'Design Histories' we had to design and make a prop from the text 'Orlando' by Virginia Wolf.
I chose to create a family crest for the side of Orlando's father's coffin. I used the Sackville family crest as reference.
I sculpted the crest from plasticine and used a piece of wood for the flat piece of the crest.
I made a silicone mold and then poured in polyuerthane resin.
I then painted the crests to look like stone and added laser cut pieces for the details on the flat piece of the crest.
