For our module , Design for Irish Drama, we were given the text 'Tarry Flynn' by Patrick Cavanagh. We were each given a building to design and construct from the town in the text.
I chose to make a bakery for the town, called 'Doreen's Bakery'. I used a variety of materials such as blue foam, card, pollyfilla, acetate, netting, felt, wood, expanding foam and fabric.
I also used a range of tools/machines such as the laser cutter, drill, hot wire and bandsaw.
I utilised Autocad and Illustrator to create my shop front panels, and Thingyverse.com to 3D print my miniature cakes and breads.
